Scottish deerhound Claire becomes first repeat Best in Show winner at National Dog Show

For the second year in a row, Claire outperformed over 180 other dog breeds and won the title of Best in Show at the National Dog Show in Philadelphia.

This is the first time the defending champion has won the title for two consecutive years.

Good genes should run in the family; Claire’s grandmother Hickory won Best in Show At the 2011 Westminster Kennel Club Show.

The National Dog Show, hosted by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia, took place over two days on November 20 and 21. The show, which first aired on NBC in 2002, aired on Thanksgiving Day after the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for nearly 20 years.

Founded by The Kennel Club of Philadelphia in 1879, the show has been held annually since 1933.

The Westminster 2022 Show will take place in January.
